The Travel Cafe x Monmouth Coffee
Great news! We are happy to announce that The Travel Cafe Waterloo is now serving coffee from Monmouth 🙂 Apart from Espresso coffee, you can also buy some variety of Monmouth filter coffee beans from us as well. The price is exactly same as the one you see from Monmouth Coffee.
Monmouth Coffee
Monmouth Coffee started roasting and retailing coffee in 1978. At the beginning they roasted in the basement of our shop on Monmouth Street, Covent Garden. They now have branches in Borough Market as well as Bermondsey. Their aim was to source interesting coffees, roast them daily and encourage our customers to taste our coffees before they bought them.
Monmouth Coffee source and roast coffee from single farms, estates and cooperatives. By visiting each farm, they look to establish a relationship with the grower and exporter of that coffee. They believe that where such a relationship exists, quality, quantity and price requirements can be discussed in an open and equal way. They see this as sustainable, fair and equal trade.
