Cotswolds: Where you can feel like being inside a fairytale


The Cotswolds is a rural area of south central England covering parts of 6 counties, notably Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Its rolling hills and grassland harbour thatched medieval villages, churches and stately homes built of distinctive local yellow limestone.


For visitors in UK, Cotswolds is one of famous touristic place. Castle Combe, a small village inside Cotswolds is a must-see venue, where you can find pretty, classy houses that make such a beautiful scene.

By Train- Train runs from London to Chippenham or Bath. As Castle Combe is quite a small village it might be worth to group your travel with Bath.

2016-2017 UK National Holidays


A lot of travellers come here without realising some important national holidays in UK and end up wasting a day not doing anything. One of the most uncommon national holiday in Britain is called’Bank Holiday’, where everything close on Monday.

For this year, we have Christmas on Saturday and New year on Sunday which makes the worst holidays being set in few years. However, to compensate the loss, we have substitute day on Tuesday the 27th and Monday the 2nd! So it’s still not too late to plan your short breaks from work.
